Gargle with salt water

Salt on its own has also been shown to work. Not the method the most popular, but hey, if it works for some, it might work for you! Simply wet you're finger, put a little salt on it and place on you're tongue. This should help to soothe the sore throat within a few hours.
Believe it or not, striking a tortilla and salsa snack is good for sore throat! Some people report that their sore throat is almost instantly relieved with this method. It is logical that the salsa contains vinegar, spices and garlic which has been shown to releive sore throat.
